Single Malt Whisky is an iconic Scottish product enjoyed the world over. Shrouded in the mists of time, whisky has been produced in Scotland for over 500 years.

Malt whiskies are a much celebrated feature of the Tomdoun bar, with over a 100 different single malts to suit all tastes. ‘Would that be a ladies or a gentlemens measure sir?’ is a catchphrase often to be heard at the bar.

Gordon & MacPhail is regarded as the ‘World’s Leading Malt Whisky Specialist’ and has for more than 110 years been carefully selecting, filling, maturing and bottling malt whiskies from throughout Scotland. The family owned and managed company currently offers more than 300 expressions, aged from five to more than 60 years.

Gordon & MacPhail also own Benromach Distillery which is located on the outskirts of the ancient market town of Forres. At Speyside’s smallest working distillery, just two men craft Benromach, using pure spring water from the nearby Romach Hills and the finest Scottish malted barley. The Benromach spirit is filled into the highest quality hand selected casks before being left at Benromach to mature for many years.
